Nadav Solomonovich is a Ph.D. candidate at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem where he also completed his B.A. and Masters degrees. His dissertation, under the supervision of Prof. Eyal Ginio (The Hebrew University) and Dr. Umut Uzer (İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi), focuses on the representation of the Turkish involvement in the Korean War (1950-53) in Turkish culture and memory. He has also published on late Ottoman Palestine and his most recent article (with Ruth Kark) "Land Privatization in nineteenth-century Ottoman Palestine" was published in Islamic Law and Society.
