Completing the BA Degree in the Department

Calculating the Final Degree Grade

The requirements will be calculated based on the year in which the students begin their studies. For the requirements in previous years (in Hebrew), please click here: 2024-2025, 2023-2024, 2022-2023, 2021-2022.

The final BA grade will be determined by the grades in all courses required, regardless of the departmental affiliation. The final grade will be the weighted average of the final course grades, as follows:

  1. The final course grade will be multiplied by the course credit points.
  2. The product will be divided by the total number of points.

The departmental final grade will be determined in the same way based on all courses required in the departmental program and only based on them. In a double major track, the departmental grade in each major will be determined as indicated above. Courses required for the degree but not for the major will be included in the calculation of the final degree grade, but not in the calculation of the final major grade.
