“Tutoring in Arabic” project – study groups in Arabic for students of Arabic for Beginners

From the 2017/18 academic year, in addition to the six frontal classrooms hours, students of Arabic for Beginners will meet for one additional hour with students who are native speakers of Arabic. The study groups comprise around 5 students.

The aim of the meetings is to implant the material studied in class in a small, intimate group setting, that will enable students to improve their reading, writing and speaking skills. In addition, there is free conversation between the tutor and students on cultural topics connected to Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies.

The meetings are conducted in Arabic from the beginning of the year.

Active participation in the meetings and its results will be presented at the end of the year in a joint meeting of teachers, tutors and students.
