The M.A. program offers students a range of specializations, in both the modern and pre-modern periods. It is also possible to take a combined option that includes courses from different periods. Geographically, the program covers the Middle East region, including the Arab world, North Africa, Turkey, Iran, the Balkans, and the Muslim republics of the former Soviet Union. It is also possible to choose courses dealing with Israel and Judaism that are connected to Middle Eastern Studies.
*Studies are conducted in Hebrew (there are several courses in English)
An exemption level is required in Hebrew.
